Katrina has exemplified excellence in leadership, academics and athletics throughout her lifestyle. In 1996, she was the recipient of a Rotary Youth Leadership Award before studying entrepreneurship at UC Berkeley. After graduating high school, Katrina traveled to Israel for an enriching experience abroad. She married shortly after settling down back home as a health and wellness direct sales consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.
For the past 25 years, Mrs. Garcia has been an advocate for opportunity and empowerment: beginning as a Youth Employment Opportunity Specialist in 1996 to her current role at Suisun City PD. Along the way she has worked retail, held positions with non-profits dedicated to counseling and advocacy services; home educated students while earning a Biblical Counseling Certificate from American Association of Christian Counselors; developed programs locally within La Cheim School Inc.; facilitated student leader development through 180 Degrees Program processes; returned college improving skills 15+yrs later – even becoming top revenue earner in class! Finally settling into Community Engagement & Certified Life Coach roles currently.
